The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked on a primary mission to Wee Waa to a truck rollover on Thursday afternoon.
A 57-year-old man sustained chest injuries in the accident and was treated on scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics.
He was then transported by road ambulance to Narrabri Airport.
The patient was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital with the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team escorting him. He is in a stable condition.
