The Crossing Theatre was to have been the venue for the recent annual Local Government NSW Water Management Conference, however COVID restrictions forced the conference to be held online. Narrabri would have hosted about 160 delegates. Narrabri was chosen as the venue because of several innovative water management projects the council has initiated, from telemetric water metering to the Baan Baa water supply and the multi-million dollar Narrabri water supply augmentation.
