Thumbs down to the big chain stores for closing shops in Narrabri. Now we have to travel four hours to Gunnedah or Tamworth to get clothes and shoes or anything in that line. It is hard enough in the country for people without closing our shops – and some of us don’t have cars. The new main street will look nice but it’s no good if we’ve got no shops.

Thumbs down – the pigeons on the rooftop of a building in the middle block of the CBD are creating a huge mess. Their feathers are a nuisance as they blow into nearby businesses. FacebookTweetEmail
