Narrabri Chamber of Commerce has welcomed new members at its monthly meeting last week.

“We have enjoyed a steady increase in membership but in recent times we have seen a rush of people keen to join,” said president Russell Stewart.

“The rising membership reflects the development of business activity and interest in Narrabri district.

“Our membership is among the highest of any comparable town and our reputation is second to none as an active and effective chamber,” added Mr Stewart.

The new members are Rohan Boehm director of renewable energy business GeniEnergy, chef Daniel Gilmore, Cory Hay and Andrew Forbes, Daracon civil engineering and construction, and Wendy Mortimer, from national operations and maintenance service provider, Programmed.
