Deputy Premier John Barilaro has announced a contribution of $100,000 for the Narrabri Industrial Network.

“The Narrabri Industrial Network supports local business, connecting members with the resources, facilities and the opportunities they need to grow and prosper.

“We are seeing a time of tremendous growth for the Narrabri community as the NSW government continues to invest record funding into regional communities,” Mr Barilaro said in Narrabri on Tuesday.

“The Northern NSW Inland Port, and the Narrabri Special Activation Precinct will see investment in Narrabri sky-rocket over the next few years and collaboration will be key in order for the community of Narrabri to unlock its true potential.”

“The Narrabri Industrial Network provides a great service to businesses in the Narrabri region and will support the community well during this time of growth through regular events and networking opportunities, information on major projects, regional advocacy, business support, training and workshops”

“This funding will allow the Narrabri Industrial Network to employ a local staff member to coordinate business development opportunities and connect local businesses with project supply opportunities, ensuring local businesses are being considered for major infrastructure projects within the region.

“The funding will also allow the Narrabri Industrial Network to establish a shopfront in the Narrabri CBD to improve community access for businesses and local suppliers.”
