Dave Dewar is Narrabri Sporties’ 2020 Consistency Singles champion after defeating Tony Redman in Saturday’s final on the John McNamara Owen Campey Green.

In a very close game, the score was even on five ends and the lead changed hands several times throughout the game. The final score after 30 ends was 153-147 to Dewar.

In the Club Triples, Kevin Hulbert (sub for J Green), Trinity Kelly and Cameron Yates were too good for Bill Rosewarn (sub for Leo Hall), Ken Regan and Scott Dewar. Hulbert, Kelly and Yates won that match 32-10 which saw the team advance to the final.

In the Mixed Pairs competition, Cindy Neil and Terry Wilson won their semi-final with a good win over Marie and Tony Redman. They will now play Lorraine Scott and Kevin Baguley in the final.

In President Pairs, Terry Wilson and Kevin Baguley defeated Anthony Welchman and Preston Clark 21-10.

President Pairs final – Terry Wilson and Kevin Baguley v David Briggs and Bob Ireland.
