Each year the Presbyterian Spring Fair and Flower Show draws people to St Stephen’s Hall to enjoy the display from local gardeners and buy all the kinds of things that come with a country fair – pickles, cakes, home made goodies of all kinds.
This year, the Flower Show could not be held because of COVID-19 public health restrictions on large gatherings.
Rather than cancel the popular event this year, the St Stephen’s congregation’s response was to go to ‘Plan B.’
In October the group set up the Flower Show stall as a ‘pop up’ event at the Narrabri markets.
That was a great success and the Plan B stall was again erected at Saturday’s markets.
Once again, customers thronged the stall and the St Stephen’s team was happy to accommodate buyers at the fund raiser.
