Drivers in Narrabri’s main street are very polite and give way to pedestrians at the roundabouts. This has been very evident over the Christmas period when visitors to town stop to let people go across. But this causes traffic hold ups and defeats the purpose of the roundabouts, that is a free flow of traffic. When the new main street is being built can we please have larger, clearer signage explaining that cars have right of way, not pedestrians. The drivers don’t know, especially the visitors.
