An eagle-eyed Topical correspondent returning home to Narrabri from South Australia, via the Hay Plains, couldn’t help but notice the amount of South Australian vehicles frantically making the return to ‘The Festival State’ along the Mid Western and Newell highways. “You could almost sense their level of panic following the quick closure of the South Australian border,” the correspondent tells Topical.
