Australia’s COVID-19 vaccine rollout will start as soon as next month, Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced last week. Mr Morrison told media gathered in front of Parliament House in Canberra that he hoped all approvals for the vaccine would be finalised by the end of the month. If the vaccination rollout proceeds as planned, as many as four million people could be vaccinated by the end of March. The most vunerable Australians are expected to receive the vaccine first in phase 1a. This phase will include quarantine and border workers, frontline health care workers and aged care and disability care staff and residents.
