Next Wednesday’s Agribusiness Expo hosted by Delta Ag in the Narrabri industrial estate has drawn strong interest and enthusiasm from the farming community and industry suppliers.

It will be an opportunity for the rural community to gather timely information on a wide range of key issues, said Narrabri and Burren Junction branch manager Pat Lash.

Opportunites for events like the Agribusiness Expo have been few and far between thanks to drought and COVID-19.

“We have very strong interest from suppliers – 40 exhibitors are booked in,” said Pat.

“There are many topical isues to be presented to producers – it is a timely event.

“The aim of the day is to exhibit and demonstrate the range of products and services available through Delta Agribusiness.

“We’ll have displays across ag-chem, animal health, precision agronomy, Local Land Services, fertiliser, crop and pasture seed, fencing and farm infrastructure.

“The day will kick off at 10am to the general public with the exhibitors here from 6am setting up shop and closing the exhibits at 3pm.

“Delta Ag will be shouting coffees from the coffee van for the first 50 attendees through the gates.

“Starting at 11am there will be short casual presentations that run for 20-30 minutes each with questions from the crowd strongly encouraged.

“Staggered throughout the day, these presentations are laid out to allow attendees to wander the stalls between times.

“There will be a free barbecue lunch provided and the event is COVID-safe with a QR scan code upon entry and a marshal.

“There will be ample parking directly out front on the street and in the Kalyx yard directly opposite.

“Many of the suppliers have been keen to get out and about and have brought an abundance of merchandise to give away along with some lucky door prizes including an esky and a trough,” said Pat.

“Come and grab a deal.”
