Thumbs down to the most unattractive and formidable entrance to our beautiful hospital with the previously bright, welcoming kiosk now shrouded in black plastic. A year ago, along with most other cafes etc., the kiosk was closed due to COVID-19. Then, with unbelievably no other room available in the hospital, it was taken over for corona virus testing! But why, oh why the black plastic? Surely, in the depressing year we have been through in any circumstance, bright, cheerful curtains would be much more appropriate as a welcome to our hospital. And now time has progressed and everyone is very aware of safety and hygiene measures necessary. Why cannot the kiosk be thoroughly cleaned – after corona testing! and permitted to reopen as a much missed staff and community service? At the very least be rid of the black plastic!
