The local market has posted a new yearly high in morning trade shrugging off a lacklustre performance in US markets overnight.
The US based Nasdaq index was down more than two per cent at one stage last night and managed to close up from those lows. The MACD indicator is showing some signs of a possible topping formation.
The banking sector is performing well at present and the Commonwealth Bank today is up more than two per cent in morning trade and is now above the pre-Covid highs.
EML Payments looks to be consolidating at these levels before a possible move higher.
Integrated Research has moved down close to the break out level.
Orocobre has been on a great run since the March lows.
Bravura broke up through the resistance zone this morning after posting an investor presentation and we bought a parcel.
Worley has moved up and out of the recent consolidation pattern and we bought some this morning.
Platinum Asset Management has again run into resistance at the $5 level and we sold out of our position this morning.
Baby Bunting has moved closer to our stop level, watching.
