The local market has been slowly edging up and is yet to close above the 7,300 level.
We sold down our De Grey and Chalice holdings to lock in some profits with both charts looking a little toppy and we have our stops in place.
Whitehaven Coal is up 50 per cent from recent lows and has finally moved above a stubborn resistance level. Some analysts have a $3 price target on the stock and we bought a parcel today.

Pacific Current has been trading sideways for some time.
Alumina could be consolidating before a further move up.
Pilbara Minerals has again reached the top of the current broad range.
Copper miner Oz Minerals has put in a lower double top type pattern which could see a pause or even a decline from here should copper prices come under more pressure.
Lifestyle Communities looks to be building for another move higher if it can overcome the resistance zone.
Synlait Milk looks to have broken the down trend line.
