NSW Health has been advised by Queensland Health that two further venues of concern in NSW have been identified.

This comes after a COVID-positive traveler left Melbourne lockdown and drove through NSW.

You must immediately get tested and isolate until you receive further information from NSW Health, if you’ve visited either of these locations on the relevant date:

  • Dubbo | Shell Petrol Station, Corner of Victoria and Whylandra Street – Wednesday June 2, 10.30am to 11:30am
  • Dubbo | Best and Less, 95 Macquarie Street – Wednesday, June 2, 12.20pm – 1pm
  • Dubbo | Chemist Warehouse, 166 Macquarie Street – Wednesday, June 2, 1.45pm – 2pm
  • Dubbo | Coles, Bultje Street – Wednesday, June 2, 4.30pm – 5pm
  • Dubbo | PKs Bakery, 105 Cobra Street – Thursday, June 3, 7.30am – 8.45am
  • Coonabarabran | Coles Express, 2-6 John Street – Thursday, June 3, 11am – 12pm
  • Moree | Woolworths Moree, 215 Balo Street – Thursday, June 3, 3.30pm to 4:30pm
  • Moree | ASSEF’s clothing store, 139-143 Balo Street – Thursday, June 3, 3pm – 3.30pm
  • Forbes | The Bakehouse, 15 Templar Street – Tuesday, June 1, 2.30pm – 2.50pm
  • Forbes | Browns Sportspower, 137 Rankin Street – Tuesday, June 1, 3pm – 3.30pm

The confirmed case travelled through regional NSW while potentially infectious from 1 June to 5 June.

The case drove from Melbourne to the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, stopping at places in Gillenbah, Forbes, Dubbo and Moree and signed in to several venues using QR codes.

  • Dubbo | CSC – Church Street Cafe, 15 Church Street – Wednesday, June 2 from 11.30am to 2.30pm
  • Dubbo | Reading Cinemas, Dubbo 49 Macquarie Street – Wednesday, June 2 from 6.00pm to 10.00pm
  • Dubbo | Homestead Motel, 101 Cobra Street – from Wednesday, June 2 at 12.00pm to Thursday, June 3 at 10.00am
  • Moree | Gwydir Carpark/Motel & Thermal Pools, 4 Amaroo Drive – from Thursday, June 3 at 1.45pm, all day Friday, June 4 to Saturday, June 5 at 7.30am
  • Moree | Cafe Omega, 145 Balo Street – Thursday, June 3 from 1.30pm to 4.30pm, Friday, June 4 from 7.00am to 9.30am, Friday, June 4 from 11.50am to 2.00pm
  • Moree | Amaroo Tavern, Amaroo Drive – Friday, June 4 from 4.30pm to 11.00pm

NSW Health is continuing to investigate the movements of this case in regional New South Wales, and this list of venues and times will be updated.

Anyone who lives in or has visited these areas since June 1 is asked to be especially vigilant for the onset of even the mildest of cold-like symptoms and is urged to come forward for testing immediately if they appear, then isolate until a negative result is received.

NSW Health will be providing pop-up clinics and extended hours at existing clinics to support increased testing for the communities in these areas. Further information will be available soon.
