Flickerfest, the Australian and international short film festival now in its 30th year, is back in Narrabri next week with movies to be screened at The Crossing Theatre. One of the short movies is ‘Dust Cloud’ written and directed by former Narrabri and Wee Waa resident Trudi Houston (now Houston Refshauge). Dust Cloud is the story of a ‘badly behaved working dog who changes his tune when is given the love and respect he deserves from a prudent country woman.’ Trudi, now living on a farm at Cowra, will be catching up with local friends when she comes to the Flickerfest screenings on Saturday, June 19.
