Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a missing man who was last seen in Narrabri. Nathan Markl, aged 31, was last seen around 10.30pm on July 7, in Goobar Street.
Officers from Oxley Police District were notified the following day and started inquiries into his whereabouts.
Nathan’s unoccupied vehicle was found parked near the bridge along Narrabri Creek, off Maitland Street.
A search has been conducted of the riverbank and creek as well as the Namoi River, with the assistance of PolAir.
Nathan has a medical condition and his family and police have serious concerns for his welfare.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180-185cm tall, of medium build and having dark hair.
It is not known what he was wearing at the time.
As inquiries continue, officers are urging anyone with information about Nathan’s whereabouts to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
