Wee Waa Lions Club welcomed four new members at an induction ceremony last week.
The group now boasts 22 members.
District governor for Lions district 201N1 Robin Parker inducted new members Liz Berger, Sharyn Towns and Paul and Judy Couley.
The new Lions members will be a big boost to the volunteer group as it continues to make a positive impact across the Wee Waa district through its various contributions to community events, fundraisers and programs.
“We’re a service organisation and Wee Waa does amazing work,” Robin Parker told the The Courier.
“The boost in membership numbers is very important – the more the better.”
Lions district global leadership team leader Brian Grieve also attended the event along with guests from Narrabri, who enjoyed a delicious meal at the Imperial Hotel with Wee Waa Lions Club members.
