Operating hours at some of the region’s COVID testing sites increased this week as a result of the stay-at-home restrictions introduced to nearby Tamworth Regional Council from Monday.

This week, Narrabri’s clinic increased its operating time to 9am to 3.50pm.

Wee Waa’s opening hours also increased to 10am to 1pm on Monday to Friday with the clinic also open Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 11am.

In Boggabri, the operating time remained unchanged from 11am to 12pm Monday to Friday.

Bookings are required at the COVID screening locations.

Narrabri District Health Service asks people who require a COVID swab to call 6799 2800.

With testing in high demand, the service has asked people to be patient on the phone.

Vaccine queries should not be made through the health service contact number.
