Mask wearing outside the home has become mandatory as part of the NSW government’s additional measures to combat the worsening COVID situation in the state.
The new rule started from Monday, August 23, and means masks must be worn in all indoor public settings as well as outside.
The only exception to the outdoor mask wearing rule is for exercise.
The new rule will be in place across regional NSW until at least Saturday, August 28.
