The Dubbo-based Western NSW Local Health District increased its COVID vaccination efforts at the weekend.
In conjunction with the Australian Defence Force, the district is providing vaccination clinics in 33 communities in 23 days.
The operation started with a walk-in clinic in West Dubbo on Saturday.
A clinic in Warren was expected to start yesterday and vaccination venues in Bourke and Parkes were expected to start today.
Vaccination clinics should be introduced to other western communities from this week through to September.
Chief executive of the Western NSW Local Health District, Scott McLachlan, said the mobile teams will spend between one and five days in each location over a three-week period.
