The Cotton Capital Country Music Muster committee has cancelled the popular event for the second year in a row due to COVID-19.

“It’s not safe for our community or our visitors to continue with the Muster for 2021,” said a statement released by the committee.

“We have a brilliant line-up of artists who have suffered greatly over the last nearly two years and we were so hopeful that we could have provided them with an appreciative audience this year.

“And don’t forget the behind-the-scenes employees that make events like the Muster happen – the sound engineers, road crew, band members, managers, booking agents and publicists.

“It’s also a blow to our local contractors and small businesses that benefit from the additional tourism in our region.

“We look forward to a better 2022.

“Once dates are confirmed we will announce them.

“For everyone who had already purchased a ticket for this year, we are processing refunds at the moment.

“Stay safe everyone and check on your mates.”
