Wee Waa High School student support officer Raylene Slee recently initiated a photo competition to boost spirits during home schooling.
The theme for round one was ‘Sunset and Sunrise’, appropriate considering the district’s landscapes experience such brilliant, magic light at those times.
After much deliberation, judges selected a beautiful image by Bryony Allen as the winner.
Caitlyn Coutts-Smith’s sunrise photos were a stand out, and judges were impressed with Axel Currey’s photo essay capturing sunsets on farm.
Chloe George’s rainbow received a worthy mention, while Mrs Slee’s personal favourite was another of Chloe George’s images capturing the reflection from sunset on water.
‘Water’ is the theme for the next round of the photo competition.
