The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe thunderstorm warning that may affect Narrabri this afternoon.
The announcement warned of damaging winds and large hailstones in the North West as a result of severe thunderstorms developing about the Eastern Slopes and Ranges, tracking east during the afternoon.
Locations which may be affected include Narrabri, Gunnedah, Tamworth, Armidale, Orange and Goulburn.
