Gunnedah weavers Fred and Marie Lawson have created an innovative new tartan design – the Koala Tartan. The tartan will be registered with the Scottish Register of Tartans and will feature ‘koala colours’ grey for the fur) black (the nose) dark brown (their eyes) and of course, green for eucalyptus leaves.
