Challenge Recycling Team would like to thank the anonymous local from the Narrabri community for today’s generosity in sending a hamper to say ‘thank you’.
We appreciate your kindness and we enjoyed the treats very much.
It feels good and rewarding when our community recognises what we are doing out here.
One of our workers recently said that they feel like some people are treating us like a rubbish tip because of what we are receiving in the recycling loads (eg, dirty nappies, dead animals, leftover food etc).
This kind gesture shows us that there are people in our community who appreciate and value us.
Today was very touching for all our staff and employees.
