Four times each year, locals and highway travellers stop to admire a collection of vintage and veteran vehicles parked in the grounds of The Crossing Theatre.

Namoi Valley Antique Vehicle Club members assemble their prized cars, representing hundreds of years of automotive progress in civilian and military vehicles, to share their passion with the community.

The club has been in operation since 1978, and members have gathered many classic automobiles, often buying them in a state of disrepair, to be carefully restored to as-new condition.

Visitors pull in off the Newell Highway, walkers strolling along Tibbereena Street, and locals driving past all stop for an inspection and a chat.

Many recall their own cars of years gone by, and NVACC members are keen to explain their own vehicles’ lineage – which can reach back many decades in many cases.
