Hot weather has hit Europe. A UK commentator on ABC radio explained that his countrymen and women are not used to warmer summers as the temperatures climbed into the high thirties and even 40 degrees in London. “Our houses have double glazed windows and central heating to keep the cold at bay” he said. “Australians are better prepared to handle the heat.”
