Thumbs down to the activists delaying progress on the Narrabri gas project by about four years with their ‘lawfare’ – launching legal cases and challenges at will. Now even the new federal Labor government is advocating that Australia needs gas and coal for years to come. We could be years closer to using Narrabri gas without the delays. If people want to ‘help the environment’ and reduce greenhouse gases, why not protest about China and its dozens of new coal fired power stations now being planned and built.
