Farming is a bit trickier – and certainly more dangerous – in Ukraine. The Russian invaders mined farmers’ paddocks and stole their tractors, planters, headers and other machinery. The Australian newspaper reports a farmer in Ukraine, Misha Ananenko, was on his tractor when a Russian mine exploded underneath his machine, the earth erupting around him. He ‘picked himself up, had a shower and a shot of vodka and went back to work.’ “Farming is always a struggle,” he said.
