Narrabri Golf Club’s annual Mixed Foursomes Championships event was contested on Sunday.

The winning team was Myra Joseph and Shane Hartog-Smith, who earned the top gross score of 128 during the 27-hole event.

The nett winners were Adam Taylor and Jane Lennox with a score of 111.5, and the nett runners-up were Luke and Emily Flood with 113.

The club’s Men’s Foursomes Championships and Ladies’ Foursomes Championships will be held this Sunday.

Wednesday ladies’ stableford: Winner – Sally Boyle with 33 points, nearest to pin fifth – Joy Baker.

Wednesday Golf nine-hole front nine stableford: Winner – Les Bonney with 20 points (countback), runner-up – Fred Atherden with 20 points.

Saturday par medley: A-grade winner – Keith Flood with +2, A-grade runner-up – O Warren with +1, A-grade third – Wayne Saunders with sqr, B-grade winner – Dean Hamblin with +1, B-grade runner-up – Blake Hilderson with +1, B-grade third – Les Bonney with sqr, C-grade winner – Jye Manton with +7, C-grade runner-up – Maryanne McDonald with -1, C-grade third – Myra Joseph with -2, nearest to pin fifth – Chrissy Southwell, nearest to pin eighth – Josh Orman, nearest to pin 12th – Grant Bull, nearest to pin 16th – Wayne Saunders.

Sunday golf nine-hole stableford: Winner – Jake Thurston with 20 points, runner-up – Robert Guest with 19 points.

Wednesday – ladies’ par and nine-hole mixed competition. Thursday – social at 12pm shotgun. Friday – nine-hole chook run Saturday – stableford. Sunday – men’s foursomes champs and ladies’ foursomes champs and a nine-hole stableford.

There will be no social golf until 2pm on Saturday. Please remember you must phone ahead for all competition and social golf to book a tee time.
