Thumbs down to the irresponsible owner of a little dog left in a white car around lunch time in Maitland Street on Monday. The windows were down a bit, but the dog was clearly very distressed, and you could hear it whining from across the road. It was there for at least 20 minutes that I knew of. A nearby business employee was informed, and they kindly kept an eye on the dog and said they would make a phone call if the car was still there after five minutes. Leave your dog at home, not unattended in a car.
