Narrabri Pharmacy, winner of the Whitehaven Coal Narrabri and District Chamber of Commerce Business Awards’ ‘Employer of Choice (more than five employees)’ category, offers many extra health-related services.
Priding themselves on offering professional and friendly health advice to the local community, the pharmacy shelves are well stocked with beauty and medical products, but there is access for customers to so much more.
“Our friendly team go above and beyond to ensure we provide excellent customer service with a friendly smile,” said pharmacist and proprietor Karen Carter.
“We are currently undertaking renovations to include a dispensing robot so that our team will be able to spend more time with you offering wound care services,
vaccinations for flu, COVID-19 and whooping cough, and sleep apnoea services”.
The health check services offered by the pharmacy include blood glucose testing, diabetes screening, blood pressure checks, blood cholesterol testing, COPD screening and asthma checks. Mrs Carter, an accredited pharmacist, can perform in-home medicines use review with customers to help better understand how to use medication if needed.
“David and I are very thankful for this award and could not achieve this without our fantastic team,” Mrs Carter said.
