Celebrations will be held across the shire next Thursday to mark Australia Day.
Narrabri Shire Council has confirmed the events taking place on January 26.
A breakfast will be held in Wee Waa at the Namoi Echo Museum, with the Australia Day ambassador, Paralympian Taylor Corry being the guest-of-honour.
A sausage sizzle breakfast will also be held at the Boggabri HACC building.
In Narrabri, a ceremony will be held for the presentation of Australia Day awards, the naturalisation of new citizens and for Sporting Wall of Fame awards.
The ceremony will be held at the Narrabri Aquatic Centre and will be followed by a family fun day, also at the swimming pool complex.
In Boggabri in the afternoon, a splash for cash will be held at the swimming pool.
Free entry is available at shire pools on Australia Day.
