The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to carry out an urgent inter-hospital transfer from Narrabri Hospital to John Hunter Hospital on Sunday night.
The critical care medical team stabilised a woman who was suffering a serious medical condition.
She was transferred to Newcastle for further treatment.
