Rural Fire Service crews contained a bush fire burning in Mount Kaputar National Park.
Fire activity picked up at the blaze, located at the south eastern portion of the park in the Tea Tree Creek area, at the weekend.
RFS crews worked with National Parks and Wildlife Service firefighters to control the fire.
The fire site received welcome rainfall earlier this week.
The RFS advised people the fire had been contained as of Tuesday morning.
However, the RFS has also advised people to expect high to extreme fire danger late this week.
The service advised all permits will remain suspended and will not be issued at present.People are reminded to download the Fires Near Me app.
