Narrabri Touch’s 2023 season will get underway on Monday, February 6, when the Cooma Oval fields host the opening round of the association’s mixed campaign.
Fifteen teams will contest this year’s mixed competition, which is one more than last year.
Each team will play against all 14 of their opponents once during a 15-round regular season, and then all teams will be placed into grades for the finals series.
The grand final is expected to be played under lights on a Friday night at the Narrabri Rugby Club as it was last year.
The draw and referee appointments for round one on Monday, February 6, are as follows:
6pm:
Field one – Tradies and Ladies v RSL Guys and Gals (referees – Wayne Nott and Mereka Gleeson); field two – Hounddogs v Charlie Sheen’s Disciples (referees – Craig Gleeson and Michael Haire); field three – Cougars v M-Tee’s (referees – Tom Nolan and Cassidy Staines); field four – Win Or Booze v Sprayerbarn Spinouts (referees – Matt Roberts and Luke Flood).
6.35pm:
Field one – Specialised Quarries and Concrete v The Kerrigans (referees – Peter Quirk and Kristie Toomey); field two – Hammertime v Banksia Babes and Blokes (referees – Matt Roberts and Bernard Gabbot); field three – Phoenix Two390 v Wilga Pelicans (referees – Keegan Richardson and Brett Allison).
