The Narrabri Women’s Bowling Club’s 2023 season consistency singles comp finalists will be locked in on Saturday, April 1.
Three quarter-final contests were played at the Narrabri Bowling Club on Thursday.
Helen Woodward defeated Marie Redman 155-145 in a very close game that came down to the final end.
The score throughout the game was 45-all, 55-all and 65-all.
On the 29th end, the score was 147 to 143 in Woodward’s favour. She then managed to score eight shots to two on the 30th end to win the game.
Cecile stormed out to an early lead against Eva Sadler and she won their game 150-121.
Cindy Neil and Janice Foxe played in the afternoon, with Neil winning the match 156-126 across 33 ends.
Lisa Pillar will play Lorraine Scott in the last quarter-final this Thursday afternoon, with the winner to play Cecile in a semi-final showdown on Saturday, April 1.
The other semi-final will be played this Saturday, March 25, which will see Cindy Neil go head-to-head with Helen Woodward.
The marker for that contest will be Lyn Tuckey.
There will also be two 2022 season mixed pairs quarter-finals played at Narrabri Bowling Club this Saturday, with Ronnie and Dave Dewar to take on Marie and Tony Redman, and Eva Sadler and Trinity Kelly to meet Lyn Tuckey and Laurie Gilbert.
