A long off-season will finally come to an end tomorrow when Narrabri Netball Association hosts the opening round of its 2023 winter ladies season at the Bev Burrows Courts.
Senior and junior player numbers have both increased this year, and there will be more teams taking the court in 2023 than there were in 2022.
There are 15 senior teams, of which seven will play in A-grade and eight will line up in B-grade.
There are five teams in the under-11/12 division, including two from Wee Waa, and four teams in the under-9/10s comp, including one from Wee Waa.
The A-grade and B-grade divisions and the under-11/12 competition will play round one matches tomorrow, however, the under-9/10 teams will play in a grading week before their comp officially begins the following Saturday, May 13.
Tomorrow’s action will see Net Set Go get underway at 10am, followed by under-9/10 and under-11/12 games at 11.30am and senior matches at 1.30pm.
