Dedicated Narrabri Touch committee members have been working hard to prepare for another great season of touch, which will get underway in less than a week.

This will be season two of the 2023 campaign and it will see separate men’s and women’s competitions be held.

The team nominations were closed as of Monday, and the committee advised that a large number of teams had entered.

The season will officially begin this Monday, July 24.

The committee advised that anyone wishing to play senior touch but does not have a team should contact the Narrabri Touch committee, who will endeavour to find them a team.

If anyone’s team does not have the required number of referees, there will be a ref’s course running on Wednesday, August 9, so there is still time to register for the course.

Steffi Allison is the new junior touch co-ordinator and she, alongside her junior touch committee, are gearing up for another great season in Term 4.

The schools junior touch gala day is coming up in August, which will be an opportune time for any children to experience how much fun it is to play touch.

“We are anticipating another great season and a huge increase in our numbers,” she said.

The Narrabri Touch committee said it was looking forward to seeing its touch family on game day.
