A correspondent asks Topical: “We have been plagued by frogs in recent times. The biggest green frog I have ever seen appeared in our toilet. He was so huge he could barely fit back around the ‘s’ bend. Other big frogs have taken up residence in another toilet and in the roof, croaking on cue every day at dusk, and in the pool. In addition to a surge in frog numbers in the swimming pool, we have found three blue tongue lizards in the pool in recent times, one I managed to save. Is this reptile and amphibian invasion due to climate change or the high humidity? What next? Crocodiles in the Namoi?”
