Narrabri Shire Council, in collaboration with the Northern Slopes Landcare Association, invites residents to a free information evening at the Yarrie Lake Hall on Tuesday, April 16, at 6pm.
The evening will allow property owners and residents to familiarise themselves with Harrisia Cactus and speak to biosecurity officers and Doctor Bancroft, the Northern Slopes Landcare Associate Project Officer on Harrisia Cactus.
Harrisia Cactus is a biosecurity matter that council would like to eradicate from the area as it can potentially destroy land and cause injury to people and livestock.
