The Arts Society is preparing for its annual Mother’s Day morning tea served in High Tea style, the usual delight will be served.
The gallery will feature local art and beautiful handmade gifts suitable for gift giving and our well-known baking items. Guest speakers will be Janice Smith and Dian Dean.
Janice will give an insight into her RAS judging appointment and Dian will tell us stories about discarded unfinished quilts that are given to her, not only does she complete the quilts but she hand quilts them stitched with love.
Our raffles, which will be drawn on the day, are a hand made quilt made and donated by Margaret Fernance and second prize is a gift box of items.
All are welcome to attend and bookings are advised.
