The Narrabri Blue Boars celebrated their first home gameday of the 2024 Central North Rugby Union campaign with three dominant victories against the Scone Brumbies in round four at Dangar Park last Saturday.

Narrabri’s women’s team kicked off the day with a 63-14 win before their second grade side prevailed 69-0.

The first grade men then made it a clean sweep as they got the job done with a 41-3 victory.

The home gameday against Scone is usually one that attracts the fewest number of fans for the Blue Boars, but president Mick Coffey said there was a good turnout on the day as the local community showed up in numbers to support their rugby teams.

Coffey told The Courier that he was thrilled rugby union had returned to Dangar Park.
