Thumbs up to the Narrabri shire community for rallying in support of our hospital services – last Tuesday’s public meeting was the biggest I have seen in this town and I’ve been here a long time. I also remember the battle the community had over a lot of years to actually get a new hospital and now we have a great facility and fantastic staff – we can’t afford to let this be whittled away. I absolutely agree that pathology services need to be kept here and not moved to another town. Are we considered a second rate town? All the evidence points to Narrabri shire and its environs as being one of the major centres and districts in country NSW.
