Around 4pm, on Thursday, August 29, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance on an urgent inter-hospital transfer from Narrabri Hospital to Tamworth Hospital.
A man aged in his 60s, suffering a serious medical condition, was stabilised by hospital staff and the NSW Ambulance critical care paramedic and a NSW Health doctor from the helicopter’s critical care medical team before being airlifted to Tamworth.
