Organisers have been overwhelmed by the number of entries at the annual Spring Rose and Flower Show held at Narrabri Bowling Club.
The event is organised by the Narrabri Show Society in conjunction with the Narrabri Garden Club.
Show society president Wendy McNair said the quality of entries, as well as the number, had far exceeded their expectations.
The number of rose entries increased enormously and were of outstanding quality and colour.
“We had fantastic numbers this year,” Mrs McNair said.
“This year we had a great showing in the junior section and from residential care.
“The work that went into the entries was exceptional.”
Organisers were also pleased with the number of visitors.
“It was a great roll-up. We had a steady stream of people come through,” Mrs McNair said.
