Free entry will again be on offer to all council pools across the shire on Australia Day 2025, following councillors’ endorsement last Wednesday evening.
Cr Ethan Towns moved that council again proceed with free entry on Australia Day, seconded by Cr Joshua Roberts-Garnsey.
The pools will be open from 12pm to 6pm, offering residents a perfect way to celebrate the day.
In 2024, 634 patrons enjoyed the facilities on Australia Day with similar numbers expected in 2025. Monster Island will also be present at the pools for 2025 providing fun and entertainment for all ages.
