Golfers from across the world were welcomed to town as Club Narrabri and the Narrabri Golf Club again played host to the Women’s NSW Open Regional Qualifier.

Visiting golfers, sponsors and guests were officially welcomed to the start of festivities at the Narrabri Golfie last Wednesday evening.

Club Narrabri CEO Paul Gordon told the gathering the event had again attracted significant sponsorship and was well-supported by staff and volunteers.

“We recognise that you have come here from all around the world,” Mr Gordon told the visiting golfers.

“We want to leave an indelible mark on you in your visit to Narrabri.”

Mr Gordon also paid tribute to the course’s grounds crew, saying the facility looked a picture.

“None of this would be possible without the efforts and support of the management team and staff of Club Narrabri, and the Golfie,” he said.

“Clubs like these also don’t run without the support of volunteers. Our heartfelt thanks to you.”

Caitlin Peirce, 22, of South Australia, claimed victory at the 2025 Ford Women’s NSW Open Regional Qualifying Event after delivering a powerful performance carding rounds of 69 and 68 to finish the tournament with five under par.
