Thank you to all our families for attending our annual presentation day.

It was a wonderful celebration of our students and school, showcasing their many and varied talents while acknowledging the hard work and dedication of our students and staff throughout the year.

Classes presented awards for consistent and conscientious effort across a range of subjects, including science and technology, history and geography, personal development, health and physical education, creative and practical arts, mathematics and English.

Special awards were handed out to students who excelled in various areas. Amelia Kneller received the Bob Tobin Infants Cultural Award, Leddy Brown was presented with the John Cavallaro Junior Cultural Award, and Angel Stanford earned the Bev Burrows Senior Cultural Award.

The Kerrie Haire Infants Citizenship Award went to Phoenix Teer, Ravyn Ridoux was recognised with the Narrabri Auxiliary Junior Citizenship Award, and Archie Clifford received the Teachers Federation Senior Citizenship Award.

Natalie Anderson was acknowledged with the Ross Panton Band Encouragement Award.

The Boys’ Sport Champion award was presented to William Hayne, while Naiya Cochrane was named Girls Sport Champion.

Chloe Cameron was awarded the prestigious Narrabri Public School Dux Award for 2024, and Jaxon Smith was honoured with the Principal’s Award for 2024.

A special highlight of the day was the presentation of the first Marion Tame Striving for Excellence Award to Jai Murray.

Dedicated to Mrs Tame’s nearly 40 years’ of service to education and innovation, this award honours her incredible contribution to inspiring generations of students, and her leadership as Narrabri Public School principal from 2015 to 2022.

Another highlight saw Daisy, our beloved school therapy dog, deliver the much-anticipated envelope announcing the 2025 leadership team.

Congratulations to our newly elected school captains, Evie McManus and Rigby Richards, and vice captains, Mohit Sundaramoorthy and Zalia-Anne Daley.

The leadership team also includes councillors George Brown, Natalie Anderson, Cooper Slack-Smith, and Narlah-Pearl Toomey, with Makaylie Mason taking on the role of Cultural Ambassador.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the staff and students who worked so hard to bring this special day together, and to our families for their ongoing support of our school community.

It was truly a day to remember.
